Solihull Moors have signed forward Elias Kachunga and wing-back Marvin Johnson on free transfers. Both players have joined the club on contracts until 9 January.

Kachunga, 34, left Cambridge United at the end of last season. Johnson, 35, departed Port Vale, where he made seven appearances during a short-term stay last season.

Kachunga's Career

Kachunga began his career in Germany and moved to England a decade ago to join Huddersfield Town, where he was part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2017.

The forward also won the EFL Trophy with Bolton Wanderers in 2023. He made 17 appearances for Cambridge United during their promotion-winning League Two campaign last term, with a further nine appearances in other competitions.

Johnson's Background

Johnson started his career at Solihull Moors before moving to play for Motherwell in Scotland, Oxford United, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United. He won promotion to the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday in 2023. Johnson signed for Port Vale on a short-term deal in October and left at the start of the year.
