Burton Albion Draw 1-1 at Solihull Moors

Burton Albion finished their penultimate pre-season fixture with a 1-1 draw against Solihull Moors at Damson Park.

Kyran Lofthouse put the Brewers ahead in the eighth minute, but Solihull Moors equalized in the 36th minute when Ben Worman converted at the penalty spot after Burton goalkeeper Corey Addai's pass fell to the Moors forward.

Competitive Match with Chances for Both Sides

The match remained competitive throughout. Tomas Kalinauskas pressed Solihull's defence in the first half, while Jacob Wakeling and Tiensia came close for the hosts.

In the second half, Millar Matthews-Lewis created two opportunities for Burton but both efforts drifted wide. A late chance involving Matthews-Lewis and Dennis nearly produced a winner, though Lofthouse failed to convert the rebound.
