Hobs Moat Library is inviting children aged five and over to a junior litter-picking session on Tuesday 27 October.
The Green Libraries Week activity runs from 11am to 12.30pm, according to Solihull Council’s announcement and supplied flyer.
Children will spend an hour collecting litter in the local area before returning to the library for a drink and snack. Participants will also receive a certificate, and litter-picking equipment will be provided.
Every child must be supervised by an adult at all times. Library staff will not accompany children while they are litter picking.
Families should book through the council’s library events page or telephone 0121 743 4592.
The activity takes place on 27 October 2026. The council’s original flyer accompanies this article. View the full-size flyer for the booking and supervision details.
