Nominations are open until 11.59pm GMT on Monday 16 November 2026. Winners will be recognised at an awards event on Monday 22 March 2027.
Individuals and groups can nominate themselves as well as put someone else forward.
Who can be recognised?
The awards cover neighbourhood kindness, volunteering, leadership within the voluntary and community sector, local groups and charities, health and wellbeing, inclusive communities, innovation and support for care-experienced children and young people.
Individual categories include the Good Neighbour Award, Volunteer Contribution Award and VCFSE Organisational Leadership Award.
Group or organisational categories include Small Community Group or Charity of the Year, Health & Wellbeing and Inclusive Communities. Community Innovation and Community Parenting awards can recognise individuals or organisations.
The Mayor's Award is chosen personally by the Mayor and is not open to public nominations.
How to nominate
The Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Sardul Singh Marwa MBE JP, encouraged people to recognise dedication and commitment across the borough.
The council says the awards are fully funded by sponsors, with Touchwood confirmed as the main sponsor for 2027.
